Charlie Broadbent

Aerospace Engineering Graduate from Swansea University, with a BEng (Hons), First Class Honours, and the IMechE Institution Best Student Award. My degree also included a year abroad studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Houston.

I am currently pursuing an MSc in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Houston, enabled via a NASA-funded research assistantship. My research focuses on metamaterials, auxetics, and deployable mechanisms for space applications.

I have worked across various independent, academic, and professional projects, applying engineering principles in real-world contexts. Several of these projects are showcased here.
